2016 Primitivo

Ripe Mission fig and strawberry jam aromas explode from the glass with cured tobacco leaf nudging through the rich fruit. The palate offers a similar experience with the tobacco playing a more considerable role, supported by barrel influences of cedar and vanilla bean. The wine is sumptuous and full with just enough acidity to provide nuance and a lingering finish.
