We are a small winery of devoted individuals who care deeply about the quality of the wines we make and the genuine hospitality we offer. We’re just as honored by the place our bottle occupies on your table as we are by the occasion of your visit to our winery. We invite you to sit around our table, enjoy our wine and add to our story.

These are the people who spend their day working to bring our wines from grapes on the vines to the bottle on your table.

Meet the team

Patrick Taylor

Where are you from?

I was born in Southern California where I spent my formative years and much of my adolescence. My family moved to Idaho when I was 14 and I quickly developed a deep appreciation for the four seasons represented in our Northwest Climate, and the rugged beauty of the natural world. I owe my love of fermentation to a short diversion in Minnesota before landing in Oregon in the early 90s.

What do you do in your role at Cana's Feast Winery?

I make wine, which is to say that I smell things, and taste things, and clean things, and fix things, and endure all the paperwork that comes with what I believe is the best job in the world.

If you could only choose one of Cana's Feast wines to drink, which one would it be and why?

Does not computesystem failure imminent… Seriously, I don’t like this question. But in a zombie apocalypse scenario, I would grab a bottle of my Nebbiolo on the way out the door. If the world is crumbling, I want my last impression of wine to be of Nebbiolo, for all its inherent complexity and exceedingly stimulating appeal.

How do you spend your free time?

Chess, tending to my garden and my plants, being outdoors where I can gawk at the astonishing beauty of nature, cooking & eating, playing games with my people (cribbage, etc), improving my language skills (Italian and French)

Describe Cana's Feast Winery in three words.

 Inviting, familial/communal, distinct.

Operations Manager

Amy Querin

Where are you from?

I was born in Eugene, Oregon but have lived in Portland and Beaverton for most of my life.

What do you do in your role at Cana's Feast Winery?

The best part of my job is being involved in all aspects of the winery. From planning events, to supporting the tasting room team, to lending a hand during harvest, I get to experience it all.

If you could only choose one of Cana's Feast wines to drink, which one would it be and why?

I would choose our Mountain Cuvée because it’s easy to drink on its own or pair with a delicious meal. It also showcases fruit from two of my favorite vineyard sites – Ciel du Cheval and Slide Mountain.

How do you spend your free time?

I love spending as much time as possible outdoors. Hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding are a few of my favorite pastimes. I also love curling up with a good book.

If you could only choose one of Cana's Feast wines to drink, which one would it be and why?

I would choose our Cabernet Sauvignon from Slide Mountain. I like the more subtle, herbal style of Cab that this site gives us.

If you could only choose one of Cana’s Feast wines to drink, which one would it be and why?

If you could only choose one of Cana's Feast wines to drink, which one would it be and why?

As someone who often decides on a wine based on the food I will be eating, picking only one wine is a tough decision. I would pick the Joie de Vivre because it is both beautiful on its own and very versatile when paired with food.
