Boasting beautiful complexity, our v.2020 Cabernet Franc has a little bit of everything that I like in a wine made from this versatile grape. Bursting with fruity notes of blueberries and cassis the aroma turns toward graham cracker crust before pivoting onto more perfumed hints of dried herbs and subtle moments of floral nuances. Juicy ripe cherry dominates the palate, balanced with flashes of fresh fennel root, black licorice, leather and crème de cassis. The mouthfeel is juicy at its core, while the acids and tannins are exquisitely balanced, walking a fine line between delicate weight and a subtle tension of texture.
